Anime Reviews

You know those moments where you are so in love with a series, you have such a high expectations for new releases? I guess this is one of those moments. When I heard that they are making this into an anime, I was hyped, after all it was bigger than ever. Fate/Apocrypha is another entry to the Fate series, however it exist in a different timeline from the original Stay Night. It is a story about the Great Holy Grail War, which unlike any Grail Wars that involves 7 masters and servants, this war involves two great factions. These two factions each has 7 masters and servants, and they both are fighting for the possession of the Great Grail. Sounds great right, I mean, 7 servants are already one hell of a show, what about 14? The potential this anime possess is just off the charts, but I was left rather disappointed. What do I like about the anime? I really love the idea of historical figures fighting each others, and that was one reason why I love the Fate series so much. Th...

Hello! Inu here... Following my review on Fate/Zero, I want to continue on the next installment of the franchise, Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works] (UBW) . Now, some of you may say that UBW is not the next installment to the series. Well, it is true that there are three Stay Nights route, and UBW is one of them. However, the original Fate/stay night (Fate route) was made back in 2004 and it is not by Ufotable, so I will be skipping it for now. I will however get back to it in the future. If Sword Art Online introduced me to the Golden Age of Anime, I would say that Fate/Zero, taught me how to be in love with a series so much that I won't get enough of it. Fate/Zero is an action-oriented, fantasy anime that takes several aspects of history. It follows a group of magus who need to fight each other in a secret war to obtain the all-powerful Holy Grail. These magus fought in a battle-royal, in a 7-sided battle. Each magus, who are called Masters, each possess a powerful familiar who will fight for them, they are known as Servants. Well, in fact the entire Fate series is based on this Holy Grail War. Anyway, Fate/Zero is the anime that TRULY starts it all for the Fate franchise, mainly due to its commercial success, some even calling it a masterpiece. What do I like about the anime? I like everything that makes this anime t...
